What founders ask before the call.
Can I switch between Advisory, Fractional, and Project tiers?
Yes — many engagements start as Advisory or Project and transition to Fractional once we know each other. Pricing is restructured without penalty when the engagement shape changes.
What’s the minimum engagement length?
Advisory engagements are typically month-to-month with a 60-day notice period. Fractional engagements start at three months so the work has time to land. Project engagements run their defined scope — usually three to twelve weeks.
Is travel included in pricing?
For Dallas–Fort Worth clients, one on-site day per month is included. Additional travel — off-sites, board meetings, on-site interviews — is billed at cost, agreed in advance.
Do you take equity?
Not as a substitute for cash. We sometimes accept a small equity component alongside a reduced cash rate for early-stage clients, but only when the engagement is long-term and the alignment is real.
What happens after the free intro call?
If we’re a fit, we send a short proposal — scope, schedule, pricing, and assumptions — usually within two business days. No proposal lock-in; you decide whether and when to start.
